15 months at the Puyallup

When Sweetpea turned 15 months back in September, we celebrated by heading out to the Puyallup State Fair. Although our little one was still too small to go on any rides, including the rides in the kiddieland, we were all entertained. The fair seemed bigger than we expected; it was like going to Disneyland or another amusement park. There were plenty of rides and thrills, and plenty of eateries and food stands. Since it is a fair, there were also a variety of exhibits in various buildings including an interesting Weird Al 3-D experience, which our whole family took part in. I think some of the things coming at the little Sweetpea startled her a bit, but everything was okay since mommy and daddy were there, and when the glasses came off, all there was is a blurry screen.

Another exhibit that Sweetpea really enjoyed was the building full of dogs; many of them were going to compete for best in show prizes at the fair. Here she is going boldly going up to and petting various dogs.

There was also an animal barn that Sweetpea found amusing. She saw various animals including colts and alpacas and even got to pet several different animals like the bunnies, goats, and even chicken!

On different days, the fair had guest appearances by various Nickelodian characters. This day they had the Backyardigans. It was a bit tricky getting photos of Sweetpea by herself as she'd rather turn around and make friends with the Backyardigans...

So, alas, mommy and daddy had to try to pose with Sweetpea

Before leaving, we couldn't resist taking a couple more photos.

Check out the size of that pumpkin!

As for updates from the Sweetpea's 15 month pediatric appointment, Sweetpea weighed in at 20lb 4oz (10-25%) and had a measured length of 32 inches (75-90%).
