Sweetpea just got these adorable new shoes and seems to really like them. Some of you may remember owning a pair of these while growing up. Here's her trying them on and her reaction when she discovered they weren't just any ordinary shoes:
She seemed to be fascinated with them and enjoys putting them on around the house. When we first tried to take them off of her, she objected. It's fun to see how happy and intrigued she was. The other nice thing about the squeaky shoes is that it has nice flexible soles, plus it helps us keep track of her. Also, it's suppose to encourage crawlers to begin walking and toddlers to walk with proper walking technique, since they must walk heal to toe to make it squeak. Seems that it has worked (or maybe just coincidentally), but she seemed to have tried to stay up longer with them on. What about when we're tired of hearing the squeaks, you ask? Well, they have the ingenious feature of being temporarily silenced with tape or completely removed, leaving just the cute shoes.

I love it! I'm going to get Jackson some of those to see if that will make him want to walk. :)
That was a very cute video.
