I had my OB appointment and everything seems to going pretty well. All my measurements are right on target for being almost 35 weeks. We can't believe it. Technically, it means that we will be full term in a couple weeks... meaning they won't stop it if the baby comes from 37 weeks. Since my regular OB was on vacation this week, I saw Dr. Tsuang who told me that it generally follows your other pregnancy/pregnancies... and since Carolyn was born right on her due date, there's a good chance that this one may just be on time as well rather than too early or late. Other than that, there hasn't really been any major issues or concerns with this pregnancy other than different kinds of pains/discomforts that I feel which are normal for second/subsequent pregnancies. At least no extended glucola test and no more finger pricking for me this time, yay!
As for little Sweetpea, she surprised us as she went #1 and #2 in the potty twice on Wednesday. Yesterday, she went pee pee once and today, pee pee twice so far. I think it's a good start since we hadn't really intended on truly potty training until maybe a couple months after baby since she has some adjustments to go through with the new baby and moving to a new home. We still need to research different methods also, but it's good that she'll go in her potty and the big people potty. She made papa and mama very happy, and papa even got teary eyed when I told him the news on the phone the first morning. Our little Sweetpea is growing up.
