More Milk Please

Before little Sweetpea was born, both daddy and I thought it was pretty neat to see our friend's babies communicate to them through baby sign language before they could talk, so we decided that we would try it out on our little one. Around 6 months, we started demonstrating signs to Sweetpea. Daddy was not certain about baby signs at first and found this during his research:

Now, I doubt that a baby can learn by simply watching the clip, but, still, it's a fun clip... and you get the idea. Anyhow, much to our delight, Sweetpea signed her first sign at 8 months. Here's a clip we captured shortly after:

Sweetpea does know more... although they aren't signs. Within the last couple weeks, she has been waving hi and bye. She also opens her hand when we put her hand to her mouth and tell her to blow kiss in Chinese (before she would make a fist and put her hand in her mouth). other than that, she does this flapping thing too, hee hee :)

I love how she smiles when you say "goodmorning!"
