This past Saturday marked Chickpea's 18 weeks; it was also Sweetpea's 18 month birthday! During her visit, she did pretty well as she did not shed a tear when she got her shot; she also did pretty well earlier that week with her H1 shot... only wincing and making a small whimper when the vaccine was given. As for her growth, she continues to measure in the 75-90th percentile in length even though she has only grown an inch or so since her last visit, measuring 33 inches, and her weight has consistently stayed on the same growth curve, measuring about 22lbs 13 oz during her visit. This season has been pretty exciting for Sweetpea. It is a lot of fun to observe and enjoy this Christmas holiday with her this year as she is at a fun age, where she is very aware of everything around her. She gets excited about Christmas trees, lights, fire (on candles, fireplaces, etc), music, new toys, etc. Here are a few photos of us enjoying the beautiful light displays at Bellevue's Botanical Garden's "Garden d'Light" exhibit:
