A Doggie For Christmas

On Christmas morning, little Sweetpea was delighted to see this little fluff ball among the presents.

"Sweetpea really got a dog?" you ask. No, not really. Those who know daddy well may have met this little maltese before. Bailey has been in daddy's family since his childhood. Though Sweetpea did not get to take Bailey home, she was quite thrilled with the up close encounter.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Seattle area experienced some unusual amount of snowfall this year. It has been crazy weather. Last month, we had over a foot of snow over the course of several days, while my parents in Virginia had none. Then, a few days ago and the past weekend, the ground was again covered with a thin blanket of the white fluff from the sky. At least, it hasn't been as rainy and downcast like the typical stereotype of Seattle.

Below are some pictures of our family enjoying the snow in December.

Snow cones! Yum.

Where are we going?

Happy Chinese New Year!

Hold on a moment. Where did everyone go?

Ah, there's everyone. This month I celebrated my first two New Years. One in the beginning of the month and one today.

Because I was quickly outgrowing this Chinese outfit my Ema gave me, mommy had to quickly snap these photos.

As many people know, each year is designated by one of twelve animals.

2009 is the Year of the Ox, so it truly is a "Niu" year :)

Though we were unable to have a big family reunion, we wish everyone long life, good luck, and a very happy and prosperous New Year.

Perfect Playpen

Who needs a playpen when you have one of these? Sweetpea looks so happy in it!

My name is up in space!

My daddy has been working on this International Space Station project. Turns out that upon building one of the electronics boards, he had my name engraved on there! Here's a picture of it!

Funny monster

Silly footage taken early last month.

Clap Clap Clap

Last week, little Sweetpea started putting her hands together and clapping. Clap, clap, clap. Yay!
